ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374 SUB. LEG. G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN QUARRY BAY AND SAI WAN HO

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.00 a.m. on 3 March 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

(a) the eastern kerbside lane of Yiu Hing Road from its junction with the access road leading to Tung Hei Court to a point about 165 metres south of the same junction;
(b) the western kerbside lane of the access road leading to Yiu Hei House, Tung Hei Court from its junction with Yiu Hing Road to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction;
(c) the western kerbside lane of Greig Road from its junction with Hong Pak Path to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;
(d) the eastern kerbside lane of Greig Road from its junction with Hong Pak Path to a point about 40 metres north of the same junction;
(e) the section of Greig Crescent from its northern junction with Greig Road to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;
(f) the western kerbside lane of Kornhill Road flyover from its junction with Hong On Street to a point about 185 metres north of the same junction;
(g) the eastern kerbside lane of Kornhill Road flyover from its junction with Hong On Street to a point about 160 metres north of the same junction;
(h) the section of Sai Wan Terrace from its junction with Kornhill Road flyover to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction;
(i) the northern kerbside lane of Hong On Street from a point about 5 metres west of its junction with Kornhill Road flyover to a point about 120 metres west of the same junction;
(j) the northern kerbside lane of Hong On Street from its junction with Kornhill Road flyover to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
(k) the southern kerbside lane of Hong On Street from a point about 5 metres west of its junction with Kornhill Road flyover to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;
(l) the southern kerbside lane of Tai Lok Street from its junction with Wai Hang Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;
(m) the section of Tai Wing Avenue from its junction with Taikoo Wan Road to a point about 45 metres south of the same junction;
(n) the western kerbside lane of the ingress of Sai Wan Ho (Grand Promenade) Public Transport Terminus from its junction with Tai Hong Street to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction; and
(o) the southern kerbside lane of Tai Hong Street from its junction with Tai On Street to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
