In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 pm to 5.30 am of the following day on 17, 18 and 19 March 2025, the section of Kong Sham Western Highway southbound from about chainage marker 8.0S to about chainage marker 8.7S will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometers per hour.

    Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

    At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
