Members of public are advised that to facilitate water mains works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Chung Mei Road from 10.00 p.m. to 5.30 a.m. of the following day daily from 18 to 28 March 2025:

(I)     Road Closure

The slow lane of Chung Mei Road eastbound from its junction with Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road to a point about 30 metres west of the same junction will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II)    Banning of Turning Movement

All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn from Chung Mei Road eastbound onto Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound.

(III)   Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles on Chung Mei Road eastbound heading for Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound will be diverted to travel via Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui southbound, Tsing Yi Interchange and Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui northbound.

(IV)   Public Transport Service Arrangement

1. 1. KMB Route Nos. 42C, 43B, 241X, 243M, 249M, N41X, N241 and X42C, and XHT Route No. 948 will be diverted to travel via Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui southbound, Tsing Yi Interchange and Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui northbound before resuming the original routeing; and
   2. NT GMB Route Nos. 88A, 88F, 88D and 402S (Tsuen Wan (Chung On Street) bound) will be diverted to travel via Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui southbound, Tsing Yi Interchange and Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui northbound before resuming its original routeing.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
