Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the National Security Education Day – Fire and Ambulance Services Academy Open Day, the following special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tseung Kwan O on 13 April 2025 (Sunday).

(A)     Road Closure

          From 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, the section of Pak Shing Kok Road north of the roundabout near the south gate of Fire and Ambulance Services Academy will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic, except emergency vehicles, franchised buses, green minibuses, vehicles with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport and vehicles allowed for travelling to Fire and Ambulance Services Academy.

(B)     Public Transport Service Arrangements

          To cope with the passenger demand during the event, special bus services CTB Route No. X797 (Tiu Keng Leng Station Public Transport Interchange - Pak Shing Kok) and KMB Route No. X90 (Wong Tai Sin Station to Pak Shing Kok and Pak Shing Kok to Choi Hung (Hung Ngok House)) will be operated. The operating period of KMB Route No. 298 (Hang Hau Station - Pak Shing Kok (Circular)) will be extended. Details of the services are as below:

(C)     Relocation of GMB stop

          Until the road closure is lifted and subject to actual situation, the following GMB stand at Pak Shing Kok will be temporality relocated as follows –

          Appropriate signs will be provided on site to inform passengers of the above arrangement.

(D)     Attention and Appeal

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Actual implementation of the road closure and traffic control will be made by the Police at the time depending on conditions in the areas. Stringent enforcements by the Police against illegal parking within the precinct of the special traffic arrangements will be taken. Fixed ticket will be issued without prior warnings and any vehicles found illegally parked might be towed away without prior notice.

          Since no parking spaces will be provided for the visitors in Fire and Ambulance Services Academy, visitors are advised to use public transport services as far as possible. Public transport operators will display notices at the stops to advise passengers of the arrangements of the above special transport services.
