Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tsing Yi

Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road resurfacing works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tsing Yi from 9.30 p.m. on 24 April 2025 to 6.00 a.m. of the following day:

(I) Lane Closure

The following traffic lanes will be closed to all vehicular traffic:

  1. The slow lane and middle lane of Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound from its junction with Chung Mei Road to a point about 93 metres south of the same junction;
  2. The fast lane of Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road southbound from a point about 37 metres south of its junction with Cheung Wan Street to a point about 69 metres south of the same junction; and
  3. The slip road leading from Kwai Tsing Road westbound to Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound.
(II) Temporary Traffic Arrangement
  1. The fast lane of Chung Mei Road eastbound from its junction with Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road to a point about 70 metres west of the same junction will be converted from one-way eastbound to one-way westbound .
(III) Banning of Turning Movement

  1. All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn from Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound onto Chung Mei Road westbound;
  2. All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn from Chung Mei Road eastbound onto Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road southbound; and
  3. All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn from Cheung Wan Street westbound onto Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound.
(IV) Traffic Diversion

  1. Affected vehicles on Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound heading for Chung Mei Road westbound will be diverted to travel via Fung Shue Wo Road roundabout, Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road southbound and Chung Mei Road westbound;
  2. Affected vehicles on Chung Mei Road eastbound heading for Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road southbound will be diverted to travel via Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound, Fung Shue Wo Road roundabout and Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road southbound;
  3. Affected vehicles on Cheung Wan Street westbound heading for Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound will be diverted to travel via Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road southbound, Tsing Yi Interchange and Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound; and
  4. Affected vehicles on Kwai Tsing Road westbound heading for Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound will be diverted to travel via Tsing Yi Interchange and Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road northbound.
(V) Temporary Public Transport Service Arrangement

  1. NT GMB Route Nos. 88 (Tsing Yi Estate bound) and 88B (Greenfield Garden bound) will be diverted to travel via Tsing Yi Interchange before resuming their original routeings.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Notices will be displayed by the public transport operators to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
