In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.01 a.m. to 6.00 a.m. on 23 April 2025 and 30 April 2025, the section of Tuen Mun Road eastbound from a point about 950 metres west of its junction with the northbound slip road to Castle Peak Road – Tai Lam to a point about 700 metres east of its junction with the southbound slip road from Castle Peak Road – Tai Lam will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
