ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Sze Shan Street and Cho Yuen Street, Yau Tong
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 30 April 2025, the following road sections in Yau Tong will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
(a) The northern kerbside lane of Sze Shan Street from a point about 15 metres west of its northern junction with Cho Yuen Street to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;
(b) The southern kerbside lane of Sze Shan Street from its northern junction with Cho Yuen Street to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction;
(c) The southern kerbside lane of Sze Shan Street from its northern junction with Cho Yuen Street to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;
(d) The western kerbside lane of Cho Yuen Street from its northern junction with Sze Shan Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction; and
(e) The eastern kerbside lane of Cho Yuen Street from its northern junction with Sze Shan Street to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: -
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
