ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones in Tsing Yi

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 25 April 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

  1. the northern kerbside lane of Cheung Wan Street from a point about 46 metres east of its junction with Cheung Tat Road to a point about 77 metres east of the same junction;
  2. the southern kerbside lane of Cheung Wan Street from a point about 46 metres east of its junction with Cheung Tat Road to a point about 63 metres east of the same junction;
  3. the eastern kerbside lane of Cheung Tat Road from its junction with Cheung Wan Street to a point about 18 metres south of the same junction;
  4. the western kerbside lane of Cheung Tat Road from a point about 5 metres south of its junction with Cheung Wan Street to a point about 23 metres south of the same junction;
  5. the northern kerbside lane of Cheung Lung Street from a point about 6 metres east of its junction with Cheung Tat Road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
  6. the southern kerbside lane of Cheung Lung Street from a point about 4 metres east of its junction with Cheung Tat Road to a point about 21 metres east of the same junction;
  7. the northern kerbside lane of Cheung Lung Street from its junction with Cheung Fai Road to a point about 13 metres west of the same junction;
  8. the southern kerbside lane of Cheung Lung Street from its junction with Cheung Fai Road to a point about 8 metres west of the same junction; and
  9. the western kerbside lane of Cheung Fai Road from its junction with Cheung Lung Street to a point about 8 metres north of the same junction.

Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

  1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
  2. loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
