ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)

RESTRICTED ZONES ON SHING TIN STREET, SHA TIN

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 23 May 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a)  The northern kerbside lane of Shing Tin Street eastbound from a point about 50 metres west of its junction with the road leading to Chun Shek Bus Terminus to the same junction;

(b)  The western and eastern kerbside lanes of the road leading to Chun Shek Bus Terminus from its junction with Shing Tin Street to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction;

(c)  The northern kerbside lane of Shing Tin Street eastbound from its junction with the road leading to Chun Shek Bus Terminus to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction; and

(d)  The southern kerbside lane of Shing Tin Street westbound from a point about 70 metres west of its junction with Fung Shek Street to a point about 110 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
