TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Special Traffic Arrangements for Tam Kung Festival in Tai Hang

    Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the holding of Tam Kung Festival, the following special traffic arrangements will be implemented in Tai Hang:

I. Road Closure
The following road sections will be intermittently closed to all vehicular traffic from 10.30 am onwards on 5 May 2025 until the crowd is dispersed:
(a) Wun Sha Street;
(b) School Street;
(c) Lai Yin Lane;
(d) Second Lane;
(e) Warren Street;
(f) Sun Chun Street; and
(g) Ormsby Street.

II. Suspension of Metered Parking Spaces
6 metered parking spaces (nos. 769A, 769B, 770A, 770B, 771A and 771B) on Wun Sha Street will be suspended from 4.00 pm on 4 May 2025 to 6.00 pm on 5 May 2025.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Vehicles may not be permitted to leave or access the car parks along the above closed road sections during the road closure period until the roads are re-opened to traffic.

       Actual implementation of the road closure and traffic control measures will be determined by the Police at the time depending on the prevailing circumstances in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience in case of traffic congestion, and take heed of the instructions given by the Police.
