Members of the public are advised that in order to facilitate the construction works of Tung Chung New Town Extension – Tai Ho Interchange, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on the following road sections of North Lantau Highway:-

(A) Lane Closure

From 7.30 p.m. to 11.59 p.m. on 10 May 2025; and 5.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on 11 May 2025:

• A section of slow lane of North Lantau Highway westbound from a point about 400 meters west of its junction with Shun Long Road westbound to a point about 1130 meters west of the same junction, will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and

• A section of fast lane of North Lantau Highway eastbound from a point about 500 meters east of its junction with Shun Long Road eastbound to a point about 1900 meters east of the same junction, will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(B) Road Closure

From 12 midnight to 5.30 a.m. on 11 May 2025:

• A section of North Lantau Highway westbound from a point about 400 meters west of its junction with Shun Long Road westbound to a point about 1130 meters west of the same junction, will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

• A section of North Lantau Highway eastbound from a point about 1000 meters east of its junction with Shun Long Road eastbound to a point about 1900 meters east of the same junction, will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(C) Traffic Diversion

• During the lane closure, motorists could still make access to the remaining traffic lanes.
• During the road closure, motorists along North Lantau Highway westbound are advised to divert via a section of slip road of North Lantau Highway westbound near MTR Siu Ho Wan Depot before resuming to North Lantau Highway westbound and continuing its journey to the vicinity of Tung Chung and the Airport; while motorists along North Lantau Highway eastbound are advised to divert via a section of slip road of North Lantau Highway eastbound near MTR Siu Ho Wan Depot before resuming to North Lantau Highway eastbound and continuing its journey to Tsing Yi and Kowloon.
