at East Kowloon Corridor, Kai Tak Tunnel and Kowloon Bay
Notice is hereby given that, to facilitate construction works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented at East Kowloon Corridor, Kai Tak Tunnel and Kowloon Bay from 1.00 am to 5.20 am on 15 June and 22 June 2025:-:
(A) Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
(i) The fast lane of the East Kowloon Corridor northbound from near Lok Shan Road to its junction with Kai Tak Tunnel Kwun Tong bound. Motorists heading for Kowloon City Road northbound could still use the remaining traffic lane;
(ii) Kai Tak Tunnel Kwun Tong bound; and
(iii) The section of Kai Fuk Road eastbound between Kai Cheung Road and Wang Chin Street.
(i) Affected vehicles on East Kowloon Corridor northbound heading to Sung Wong Toi Road and Kowloon East via the Kai Tak Tunnel Kwun Tong bound are advised to divert via the slip road to Kowloon City Road, Kowloon City Road northbound and Sung Wong Toi Road westbound;
(ii) Affected vehicles on Kai Cheung Road westbound heading to Kai Fuk Road eastbound and Kwun Tong Bypass eastbound will be diverted via the Trademart Drive southbound, Wang Chin Street eastbound, Wang Kee Street northbound, Lam Hing Street eastbound, Wang Kwong Road southbound, Kai Fuk Road eastbound, Sheung Yee Road eastbound, Wang Chiu Road southbound and Kwun Tong Bypass; and
(iii) Affected vehicles on Trademart Drive northbound heading to Kai Fuk Road eastbound and Kwun Tong Bypass eastbound will be diverted via the U-turn slip road outside the site of former Kowloonbay International Trade and Exhibition Centre, Trademart Drive southbound, Wang Chin Street eastbound, Wang Kee Street northbound, Lam Hing Street eastbound, Wang Kwong Road southbound, Kai Fuk Road eastbound, Sheung Yee Road eastbound, Wang Chiu Road southbound and Kwun Tong Bypass.
(C) Public Transport Service Arrangement
During the above-mentioned road closure period, Kowloon Green Minibus route no. 62S heading to Lam Tin (Kwong Tin Estate) will be re-routed via Kowloon City Road northbound, Sung Wong Toi Road westbound, Ma Tau Chung Road northbound, Prince Edward Road East eastbound, Kwun Tong Road eastbound, Wai Yip Street southbound, Kai Cheung Road westbound and Wang Kwong Road northbound, before resuming its original routing.
Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
