TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Canal Road East, Causeway Bay

      Notice is hereby given that to facilitate drainage works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Canal Road East from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day daily on 8, 10 and 11 July 2025 and from 12.00 midnight to 6.00 am on 9 July 2025:

A. Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporary closed to all vehicular traffic:
i. a section of Canal Road East between Jaffe Road and Lockhart Road; and
ii. a section of Canal Road East between Lockhart Road and Hennessy Road.

B. Turning Movement Arrangement
All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn from Lockhart Road westbound onto Canal Road East southbound.

C. Traffic Diversion
i. Affected vehicles on Lockhart Road westbound heading to Hennessy Road eastbound will be diverted via Stewart Road southbound.
ii. Affected vehicles on Canal Road East heading to Lockhart Road eastbound will be diverted via Jaffe Road eastbound and Percival Street southbound.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
