Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Fanling Highway and San Tin Highway, Yuen Long
Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate construction works for the Development of Lok Ma Chau Loop, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 19 to 26 July 2025:
Road Closure
(i) From 1.00 am to 5.30 am on 19 and 20 July 2025
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
(ii) From 1.00 am to 5.30 am on 21, 22 and 23 July 2025
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
(iii) From 1.00 am to 5.30 am on 24 July 2025
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
(iv) From 1.00 am to 5.30 am on 25 and 26 July 2025
The slip road leading from San Tin Interchange to Fanling Highway eastbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
Traffic Diversion
(i) From 1.00 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. on 19 and 20 July 2025
Motorists on Fanling Highway westbound heading for San Tin Interchange will be diverted via the unnamed Road southbound near Pak Shek Au and Kwu Tung Road westbound, or via the unnamed Road northbound near Pak Shek Au, Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau westbound and Castle Peak Road – San Tin westbound.
(ii) From 1.00 am. to 5.30 am. on 25 and 26 July 2025
Motorist on San Tin Interchange heading for Fanling Highway eastbound will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau eastbound and the unnamed Road southbound near Pak Shek Au.
Temporary Public Transport Arrangements
(i) From 1.00 am to 5.30 am on 19 and 20 July 2025
KMB Route Nos. 276B (Tin Shui Wai bound), N73 (Lok Ma Chau bound), LWB Route No. NA43 (Airport bound) and NT GMB Route No. 616S (Lok Ma Chau bound) will be diverted via the unnamed Road northbound near Pak Shek Au, Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau westbound and Castle Peak Road – San Tin westbound before resuming their original routeings.
(ii) From 1.00 am to 5.30 am on 25 and 26 July 2025
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care. The public transport operators will also display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
