ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)
PROHIBITED ZONE IN HONG KONG-ZHUHAI-MACAO BRIDGE HONG KONG PORT
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(l)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.01 a.m. on 28 July 2025, the following sections of roads at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port will be designated as prohibited zones 24 hours daily as below:—
- Drivers of goods vehicles except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport will be prohibited from driving into Shun Fai Road from a point about 300 metres west of its junction with Chek Lap Kok Road to the same junction;
- Drivers of goods vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving into the slip road from Shun Wui Road leading to Shun Fai Road;
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except light goods vehicles and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving into a section of Shun Ming Road westbound between a point about 40 metres north of its junction with Shun Fai Road and its junction with Shun Lin Road;
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except New Territories Taxis, Fleet Taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving into Shun Chit Road;
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving into a section of Shun Lui Road from its junction with Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Link Road to a point about 120 metres north of the same junction;
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving into a section of a unnamed slip road from a point 80 metres north of its junction with Shun Lui Road to the same junction;
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except private cars, motorcycles and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving into Car Park Nos. 1, 2 and 3;
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except light goods vehicles and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving into Car Park No. 4;
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving into Car Park No. 5; and
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except Urban Taxis and Lantau Taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving into the Urban Taxi and Lantau Taxi Queuing Area.
The extent of the prohibited zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs on site.
At the same time, the existing prohibited zones of the above sections as gazetted under G.N. 8037 on 19 October 2018 will be rescinded.
