In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(l)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.01 a.m. on 28 July 2025, the following sections of roads at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port Public Transport Interchange Pick-up Area will be designated as prohibited zones 24 hours daily:—
(a) Drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the third cul-de-sac from the west end of this public transport interchange;
(b) Drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses, public light buses (scheduled services) and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the fourth cul-de-sac from the west end of this public transport interchange;
(c) Drivers of all motor vehicles, except buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the fifth cul-de-sac from the west end of this public transport interchange;
(d) Drivers of all motor vehicles, except New Territories Taxis, Fleet Taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the sixth cul-de-sac from the west end of this public transport interchange; and
(e) Drivers of all motor vehicles, except Urban Taxis and Lantau Taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the eastmost cul-de-sac of this public transport interchange.
The extent of the prohibited zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs on site.
At the same time, the existing prohibited zones of the above sections as gazetted under G.N. 3844 on 22 July 2022 will be rescinded.
