ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON HOI WANG ROAD, YAU MA TEI

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 am on 27 July 2025, the following road sections in Yau Ma Tei will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

1. 1. The eastern kerbside lane of Hoi Wang Road southbound of its junction with Lai Cheung Road to Hoi Wang Road southbound to the junction with Yan Cheung Road;
      
      
   2. The western kerbside lane of Hoi Wang Road northbound of its junction with Yan Cheung Road to a point about 50 metres west of Hoi Wang Road northbound of its junction to the vehicular bridge of Yau Ma Tei Interchange towards West Harbour Crossing;
      
      
   3. The western kerbside lane of Hoi Wang Road northbound of its junction with the vehicular bridge of Yau Ma Tei Interchange towards Sham Shui Po to Hoi Wang Road northbound of its junction with Lai Cheung Road.

         Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

         (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

         (b) loading or unloading goods.

         The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

         At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be rescinded.
