ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON YAU MA TEI INTERCHANGE

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 am on 27 July 2025, the section of Yau Ma Tei Interchange leading to Sham Shui Po from a point about 55 metres west of its junction with Hoi Wang Road northbound to the slip road between the section of Yau Ma Tei Interchange leading to Sham Shui Po and Lin Cheung Road northbound will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily.

       Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

       (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

       (b) loading or unloading goods.

       The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.

       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be rescinded.
