ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN CENTRAL AND WESTERN DISTRICT

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 5 September 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

1. 1. The southern kerbside lane of the northern section of Western Fire Services Street;
   2. The western kerbside lane of the eastern section of Western Fire Services Street;
   3. The northern kerbside lane of the southern section of Western Fire Services Street;
   4. The eastern kerbside lane of the western section of Western Fire Services Street from a point about 10 metres north of its junction with Connaught Road West to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction;
   5. The eastern kerbside lane of the western section of Western Fire Services Street from a point about 95 metres north of its junction with Connaught Road West to a point about 115 metres north of the same junction;
   6. The southern kerbside lane of Des Voeux Road Central from its junction with Jubilee Street to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction;
   7. The western kerbside lane of Jubilee Street from its junction with Des Voeux Road Central to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;
   8. The northern kerbside lane of Man Kwong Street eastbound from its junction with Man Kwong Street service road to a point about 70 metres east of the same junction;
   9. The northern kerbside lane of Man Kwong Street service road from its junction with Man Kwong Street to a point about 60 metres west of the same junction;
   10. The southern kerbside lane of Man Kwong Street westbound from its junction with Man Yiu Street to a point about 110 metres west of the same junction;
   11. The western kerbside lane of Man Yiu Street from its junction with Man Kwong Street to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction;
   12. The southern kerbside lane of Man Kwong Street westbound from a point about 155 metres west of its junction with Man Yiu Street to a point about 180 metres west of the same junction; and
   13. The slip road leading from Central Ferry Piers Bus Terminus to Man Kwong Street eastbound.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: –

1. 1. Picking up or setting down passengers; or
   2. Loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
