In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulation, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 8.00 a.m. on 27 August 2025 to 6.00 p.m. on 31 January 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

1. 1. the northern kerbside lane of Playing Field Road between Nathan Road and Sai Yeung Choi Street North; and
      
      
   2. the western kerbside lane of Sai Yeung Choi Street North from its junction with Playing Field Road to a point about 40 metres north of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

           (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

           (b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
