In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 11.00 a.m. on 15 August 2025, the section of Caldecott Road westbound from a point about 125 metres west of its junction with Tai Po Road northbound to a point about 145 metres west of the same junction will be designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily.

          Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except private cars pick up/drop off, franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

           (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

           (b) loading or unloading goods.

         The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

         At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
