ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Temporary Restricted Zones in Observatory Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulation, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 1.00 am on 16 August 2025 to 5.00 am on 23 August 2025, the southern kerbside lane of Observatory Road from 25 meters of its junction with Chatham Road South to the junction of Kimberley Street will be temporarily designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; orThe extent of the restricted zone has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
