In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 22 August 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

• The eastern kerbside lane of Lai Cho Road from a point about 12 metres north of its junction with Joint Street to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction;
• The eastern kerbside lane of Lai Cho Road from a point about 6 metres south of its junction with Joint Street to a point about 13 metres south of the same junction;
• The western kerbside lane of Lai Cho Road from its junction with Joint Street to a point about 16 metres north of the same junction;
• The western kerbside lane of Lai Cho Road from its junction with Joint Street to a point about 27 metres south of the same junction;
• The southern kerbside lane of Joint Street from its junction with Lai Cho Road to a point about 7 metres west of the same junction;
• The northern kerbside lane of Joint Street from its junction with Lai Cho Road to a point about 24 metres west of the same junction;
• The eastern kerbside lane of Lai King Hill Road from a point about 21 metres north of its junction with Joint Street to a point about 36 metres north of the same junction;
• The eastern kerbside lane of Lai King Hill Road from a point about 25 metres south of its junction with Joint Street to a point about 51 metres south of the same junction;
• The western kerbside lane of Lai King Hill Road from its junction with the vehicular access of Lai King Estate Carpark (opposite to Ha Kwai Chung Polyclinic) to a point about 13 metres north of the same junction;
• The northern and southern kerbside lane of the vehicular access of Lai King Estate Carpark (opposite to Ha Kwai Chung Polyclinic) from its junction with Lai King Hill Road to a point about 4 metres west of the same junction;
• The western kerbside lane of Lai King Hill Road from its junction with the vehicular access of Lai King Estate Carpark (opposite to Ha Kwai Chung Polyclinic) to a point about 5 metres south of the same junction;
• The northern kerbside lane of the egress of Lai King North Bus Terminus from its junction with Lai King Hill Road to a point about 7 metres west of the same junction;
• The southern kerbside lane of the ingress of Lai King North Bus Terminus from its junction with Lai King Hill Road to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction; and
• The western kerbside lane of Lai King Hill Road from its junction with the ingress of Lai King North Bus Terminus to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction.

Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• picking up or setting down passengers; or
• loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
