TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Cha Kwo Ling Road and Ko Chiu Road, Yau Tong


       Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic
and transport arrangements will be implemented in Yau Tong from 10.30 pm on 29 August 2025 to 5.30 am on 30 August 2025.

  (1)  Road Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

    1. The section of Ko Chiu Road westbound between Yan Wing Street and Cha Kwo Ling Road; and
    2. The section of Cha Kwo Ling Road southbound from its junction with Ko Chiu Road to a point about 140 metres south of the same junction.
  (2)  Lane Closure

The following traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

    1. The fast lane of Cha Kwo Ling Road southbound from its junction with Ko Chiu Road to a point about 40 metres north of the same junction; and
    2. The fast lane of Ko Chiu Road westbound from its junction with Yan Wing Street to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction.
  (3)  Public Transport Arrangements

From 10.30 pm on 29 August 2025 to 5.30 am on 30 August 2025:

    1. Kowloon GMB Route Nos. 24, 24M and 76B and Yau Tong bound Cross-boundary coach service will be diverted via Ko Chiu Road westbound, Yan Wing Street southbound, Cha Kwo Ling Road northbound, Ko Chiu Road eastbound and then resume original routeing to Yau Tong Public Transport Interchange;
    2. Kowloon GMB Route No. 24 will be diverted via Ko Chiu Road eastbound, roundabout, Ko Chiu Road westbound, Yan Wing Street southbound, Cha Kwo Ling Road northbound and then resume original routeing to Sam Ka Tsuen Ferry; and
    3. The GMB stops of Kowloon GMB Route Nos. 24, 24M and 76B on Ko Chiu Road westbound opposite to Yau Tong Community Hall will be suspended.

From 11.00 pm on 29 August 2025 to 5.30 am on 30 August 2025:

    1. KMB Route Nos. 33, 214 and X42C will be diverted via Ko Chiu Road westbound, Yan Wing Street southbound, Cha Kwo Ling Road northbound, Ko Chiu Road eastbound and then resume original routeing to Yau Tong Public Transport Interchange.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction and drive with utmost care. Notices will also be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
