In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.00 midnight to 5.30 a.m. daily between 12 September and 30 September 2025 (except general holidays and the next day of the general holidays), the section of West Kowloon Highway southbound from a point about 50 metres south of its junction with the elevated road of Hoi Fai Road westbound to a point about 350 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour.

         Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

         At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
