Transport Department Notice

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay, Tuen Mun

          Notice is hereby given that, to facilitate road resurfacing works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day on 2 September 2025 and 4 September 2025.

(I) Road Closure

A section of Sam Shing Street westbound near Hanford Garden will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II) Traffic Diversion

    1. Vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay southbound heading for Sam Shing Street near Hanford Garden will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay southbound, Sam Shing Street westbound near Palm Cove, and Sam Shing Street northbound; and
    2. Vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay northbound heading for Sam Shing Street near Hanford Garden will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay northbound, Sam Shing Street westbound near Palm Cove, and Sam Shing Street northbound.
(III) Public Transport Arrangement

The following diversion will be implemented during the affected period:

KMB Route No. 61M Tuen Mun (Hoi Wing Road) via Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay northbound, Sam Shing Street westbound near Palm Cove, Sam Shing Street northbound, Sam Shing Street eastbound and Sam Shing Public Transport Interchange before resuming its original routeing.

KMB Route No. 261 Tuen Mun (Sam Shing Estate) via Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay southbound, Sam Shing Street westbound near Palm Cove, Sam Shing Street northbound, Sam Shing Street eastbound and Sam Shing Public Transport Interchange.
KMB Route No. N252 Tuen Mun (Sam Shing Estate) via Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay northbound, Sam Shing Street westbound near Palm Cove, Sam Shing Street northbound, Sam Shing Street eastbound and Sam Shing Public Transport Interchange.
GMB Route No. 43C Siu Lun Court via Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay southbound, Sam Shing Street westbound near Palm Cove, Sam Shing Street northbound, Sam Shing Street eastbound and Sam Shing Public Transport Interchange before resuming its original routeing.
GMB Route No. 140M Tuen Mun (Hanford Garden) via Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay northbound, Sam Shing Street westbound near Palm Cove, Sam Shing Street northbound, Sam Shing Street eastbound and Sam Shing Public Transport Interchange.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists.
