ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Chan Man Street, Sai Kung

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulation, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 4.00 pm on 24 September 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) the western kerbside lane of Chan Man Street from its eastern junction with Fuk Man Road to a point about 60 metres south of the same junction;

(b) the both kerbside lane of Chan Man Street from a point about 60 metres south of its eastern junction with Fuk Man Road to a point about 145 metres south of the same junction (except the lay-by and the taxi stand); and

(c) the eastern kerbside lane of Chan Man Street from a point about 145 metres south of its eastern junction with Fuk Man Road to its western junction with Fuk Man Road.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
