In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 1.00 a.m. on 14 September 2025 to 1.00 a.m. on 14 March 2026, the following road sections will continue to be subject to a temporary speed limit of 70 kilometers per hour:

1. The section of Fanling Highway southbound from a point about 340 metres south of its junction with Ho Ka Yuen Footbridge to a point of about 610 metres south of the same junction; and
2. The section of the slip road leading from Tai Wo Service Road East to Fanling Highway southbound from a point about 135 metres north of its junction with Fanling Highway southbound to a point about 135 metres south of the same junction.

          Appropriate traffic signs have been erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
