In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 12 September 2025 to 6.00 pm on 9 December 2025, the section of Kai Fuk Road eastbound from a point about 55 metres east of its junction with the ingress of the petrol station near Wang Chin Street to a point about 475 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

       At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
