Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Shing Mun Tunnel Road, Sha Tin
Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Shing Mun Tunnel Road during the time specified below:
(I) Lane Closure
From 5.30 am on 13 September 2025 to 11.59 pm on 12 November 2025
The slow lane of Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound from its junction with the slip road of Shing Mun Tunnel Road leading to Tai Wai eastbound to a point about 370 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily closed. All vehicles on Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound heading to Sha Tin and Tai Po will be required to merge from the slow lane into the fast lane.
(II) Intermittent Road Closure
From 10.00 am to 4.00 pm daily on every Mondays to Saturdays (except General Holidays) during the period from 13 September 2025 to 12 November 2025
The section of Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound from its junction with the slip road of Shing Mun Tunnel Road leading to Tai Wai eastbound to a point about 370 metres east of the same junction will be intermittently closed.
Traffic delay is expected during the implementation of the above temporary traffic arrangements. Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Members of the public are advised to plan their journey early and allow more travelling time.
