TRAFFIC ADVICE
Special Traffic Arrangement for Shau Kei Wan Hungry Ghost Festival 2025

        Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate the parade of Hungry Ghost Festival 2025, intermittent road closure will be implemented in Shau Kei Wan on 15 September 2025 (Monday):

Road Closure

The leftmost lane of following road sections will be intermittently closed to all vehicular traffic from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm:

(i) Nam Hong Street;
(ii) Yiu Hing Road;
(iii) Sun Sing Street;
(iv) Shau Kei Wan Road;
(v) Hoi An Street;
(vi) Sai Wan Ho Street;
(vii) Tai Cheong Street;
(viii) Aldrich Bay Road;
(ix) Oi Yin Street;
(x) Oi Lai Street;
(xi) Tung Hei Road;
(xii) Shau Kei Wan Main Street East;
(xiii) Kam Wa Street;
(xiv) Mong Lung Street;
(xv) Factory Street; and
(xvi) Chai Wan Road.

        Adjustment of the above road closure, or other ad-hoc traffic and public transport measures, including further closure of roads, traffic diversion, alteration and suspension of public transport services, will be implemented by the Police depending on the crowd and traffic condition in the areas. Members of the public are advised to avoid driving to the affected areas, use public transport services as far as possible and watch out for the latest traffic news through the media. In case of traffic congestion, motorists should exercise tolerance and patience, and follow the instructions of the Police.
