In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 5:00 am on 6 October 2025 to 11:59 pm on 15 February 2026, the section of New Clear Water Bay Road eastbound from a point about 160 metres west of its junction with San Lee Street to a point about 410 metres west of the same junction will continue to be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

         Appropriate traffic signs have been erected on site to guide motorists.

         At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
