TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Kwun Tong Road, Kwun Tong
Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Kwun Tong Road from 1.00 am to 5.30 am daily during the period from 25 October to 24 November 2025:-
- Road Closure
Kwun Tong Road southbound between Ting Fu Street and Ting On Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
- Lane Closure
The slow lane of about 230 metres on Kwun Tong Road southbound near Wing Ying Building will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
- Banning of Turning Movement
Vehicles exceeding 12 metres in length will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn movement from Kwun Tong Road southbound onto Ting Fu Street.
- Traffic Diversion
- Affected motorists with vehicles not exceeding 12 metres in length on Kwun Tong Road southbound heading for Ngau Tau Kok and Kwun Tong will be temporarily diverted via Ting Fu Street, Ting On Street and Kwun Tong Road southbound;
- Affected motorists on Kwun Tong Road southbound heading for Ngau Tau Kok Road will be diverted via the flyover section of Kwun Tong Road southbound, Hong Ning Road northbound, Yee On Street westbound, Tung Ming Street southbound and Ngau Tau Kok Road westbound; and
- Affected motorists on Kwun Tong Road southbound heading for Yee On Street will be diverted via the flyover section of Kwun Tong Road southbound, Hong Ning Road northbound, Kung Lok Road westbound, Tung Ming Street southbound, Hang On Street westbound, Luen On Street southbound and Yee On Street eastbound.
- Public Transport Arrangements
- The bus and GMB stops for KMB Route Nos. 38, 40, CTB Route Nos. A22, A29, E22, E22A, N29, NA29, Cross Harbour Route No. 101, and New Territories GMB Route No. 102S on Kwun Tong Road southbound near Ngau Tau Kok MTR Station will be temporarily suspended;
- The bus stops for CTB Route Nos. A22, A29, E22, E22A, N29 and NA29 on Kwun Tong Road southbound near Ting Fu Street will be temporarily relocated about 180 metres northwards; and
- The GMB stop for New Territories GMB Route No. 102S on Kwun Tong Road southbound near Ting Fu Street will be relocated about 130 metres northwards.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
