TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Cross Lane, Wan Chai

      Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Cross Lane from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day daily on Mondays to Saturdays between 14 October 2025 and 13 December 2025 (except Public Holidays):

(a) Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
i. a section of Cross Lane between Burrows Street and Heard Street; and
ii. a section of Heard Street between Wan Chai Road and Cross Lane.

(b) Lane Conversation
The section of Wood Road near Cheong Chun Building will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic into one-lane two-way traffic.

(c) Turning Movement Arrangement
All vehicles will be prohibited from making right turn from Burrows Street onto Cross Lane.

(d) Traffic Diversion
i. Affected vehicles on Burrows Street northbound heading to Wood Road southbound will be diverted via Wan Chai Road westbound, Fleming Road northbound, Thomson Road eastbound, Johnston Road eastbound, Burrows Street southbound and Wan Chai Road eastbound.
ii. Affected vehicles on Cross Lane eastbound heading to Wood Road southbound will be diverted via Burrows Street northbound, Wan Chai Road westbound, Fleming Road northbound, Thomson Road eastbound, Johnston Road eastbound, Burrows Street southbound and Wan Chai Road eastbound.

       Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists.
