TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Chai Wan

        Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Chai Wan from 10.00 pm on Sundays to Thursdays to 5.30 am the following day daily; and from 10.00 pm on Fridays to Saturdays to 6.00 am the following day daily between 24 October and 30 November 2025:

A. Temporary Traffic Arrangements

i. Road Closure

The section of Sheung On Street northbound between Chai Wan Road and Fung Yip Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

ii. Banning of Turning Movement

All vehicles will be prohibited from making left turn from Chai Wan Road eastbound onto Sheung On Street northbound.

iii. Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles on Chai Wan Road eastbound heading for Sheung On Street northbound will be diverted via Sun Yip Street northbound, On Yip Street westbound and Fung Yip Street westbound before making right turn onto Sheung On Street northbound.

B. Temporary Transport Arrangements

HKI GMB Route Nos. 20, 20M and 47M (Sai Wan Ho / Hing Man Estate / Siu Sai Wan bound) will be diverted via Chai Wan Road eastbound, Sun Yip Street northbound, On Yip Street westbound and Fung Yip Street eastbound before resuming its original routeing.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will arrange notice to notify passengers of the arrangements.
