Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Tai Lin Pai Road and San Kwai Street, Kwai Chung
Motorists are advised that to facilitate drainage works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Tai Lin Pai Road and San Kwai Street, Kwai Chung from 9.00 pm to 5.30 am of the following day on every Saturday and Sunday during the period from 1 November 2025 to 28 December 2025:
(I) Road Closure
- The section of San Kwai Street northbound from its junction with Tai Lin Pai Road to a point about 44 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(II) Banning of Turning Movement
- All vehicles on Kwai Chung Road southbound will be prohibited from making left turn onto Tai Lin Pai Road eastbound via the southern junction of Kwai Chung Road with Tai Lin Pai Road.
(III) Lane Conversion
- The section of San Kwai Street southbound from its junction with Tai Lin Pai Road to a point about 44 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily converted into one-lane two-way traffic.
(IV) Traffic Diversion
- Affected vehicles on Kwai Chung Road southbound heading for the affected section of Tai Lin Pai Road eastbound will be diverted via Kwai Chung Road southbound, Kwai Foo Road westbound, Hing Fong Road southbound, Kwai Tsing Road southbound, Kwai King Road eastbound, Kwai Tai Road eastbound, Container Port Road South northbound, Kwai Chung Road northbound and Tai Lin Pai Road eastbound; and
- Affected vehicles on Kwai Chung Road southbound heading for San Kwai Street southbound will be diverted via Kwai Chung Road southbound, the northern junction of Kwai Chung Road with Tai Lin Pai Road, Tai Lin Pai Road eastbound, Tai Lin Pai Road southbound, Tai Lin Pai Road westbound and San Kwai Street southbound; or via Kwai Chung Road southbound, Kwai On Road eastbound, Tai Lin Pai Road southbound, Tai Lin Pai Road westbound and San Kwai Street southbound.
Motorists are advised to drive with upmost care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
