ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES ON OBSERVATORY ROAD, TSIM SHA TSUI

          In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10:00 p.m. on 17 November 2025 to 6:00 a.m. on 8 December 2025, the following road sections will be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 daily:

1. 1. the northern kerbside lane of Observatory Road from its junction with Kimberley Road to a point about 95 metres to east of the same junction;
      
      
   2. the southern kerbside lane of Observatory Road from a point about 24 metres west of its junction with Chatham Road South to a point about 35 metres to west of the same junction; and
      
      
   3. the southern kerbside of Observatory Road from its junction with Kimberley Street to a point about 50 metres to west of the same junction.

          Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

            (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b)  loading or unloading goods.

          The extent of the restricted zones have been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

          At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
