ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Tung Yuen Street, Yau Tong


        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 7.00 pm on 7 November 2025, the following road sections in Yau Tong will be designated as restricted zones from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily except general holidays:

    1. The northern kerbside lane of Tung Yuen Street from its junction with Ko Fai Road to a point about 15 metres west of its junction with Shung Tak Wai;

    2. The northern kerbside lane of Tung Yuen Street from a point about 20 metres east of its junction with Shung Tak Wai to its junction with Yan Yue Wai;
      and

    3. The southern kerbside lane of Tung Yuen Street from its junction with Ko Fai Road to its junction with Yan Yue Wai.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except goods vehicles, taxis, franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

  (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

  (b)  loading or unloading goods.


      The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

      At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be rescinded.
