TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Canal Road East, Causeway Bay

       Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Canal Road East during the time specified below:

From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day daily on Mondays to Fridays from 3 November 2025 to 24 November 2025 (except public holidays)

A. Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
i. a section of Canal Road East between Jaffe Road and Lockhart Road; and
ii. part of the traffic lane of Lockhart Road eastbound near Canal Road East.

B. Traffic Diversion
Affected vehicles on Canal Road East heading to Lockhart Road eastbound will be diverted via Jaffe Road, Percival Street northbound, Gloucester Road westbound and Marsh Road southbound.

From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day daily on Mondays to Fridays from 25 November 2025 to 16 December 2025 (except public holidays)

A. Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
i. a section of Canal Road East between Gloucester Road and Lockhart Road; and
ii. the u-turn slip road leading from Canal Road West to Canal Road East.

B. Turning Movement Arrangement
i. All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn from Gloucester Road westbound onto Canal Road East.
ii. All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn from Canal Road West onto Canal Road East.

C. Traffic Diversion
Affected vehicles on Gloucester Road westbound heading to Lockhart Road eastbound will be diverted via Marsh Road southbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
