ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones in Tsing Yi

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 7 November 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

  1. the southern kerbside lane of Tam Kon Shan Road from a point about 31 metres west of its western junction with Tsing Yi North Coastal Road to a point about 70 metres east of the same junction;
  2. the northern kerbside lane of Tam Kon Shan Road from a point about 116 metres west of its eastern junction with Tsing Yi North Coastal Road to a point about 59 metres east of the same junction;
  3. the southern kerbside lane of Tam Kon Shan Road from a point about 12 metres east of its eastern junction with Tsing Yi North Coastal Road to a point about 60 metres east of the same junction;
  4. the eastern kerbside lane of Tsing Yi North Coastal Road from its eastern junction with Tam Kon Shan Road to a point about 149 metres east of the same junction;
  5. the eastern kerbside lane of Nga Ying Chau Street from a point about 36 metres north of its junction with Tsing King Road to a point about 60 metres north of the same junction;
  6. the eastern kerbside lane of Nga Ying Chau Street from a point about 70 metres north of its junction with Tsing King Road to a point about 82 metres north of the same junction;
  7. the eastern kerbside lane of Nga Ying Chau Street from a point about 93 metres north of its junction with Tsing King Road to a point about 143 metres north of the same junction;
  8. the eastern kerbside lane of Nga Ying Chau Street from a point about 155 metres north of its junction with Tsing King Road to a point about 164 metres north of the same junction;
  9. the eastern kerbisde lane of Tsing King Road from a point about 4 metres north of its junction with the unnamed access road connecting the ingress of Tsing Yi Station Car Park and Tsing King Road to a point about 24 metres south of the same junction;
  10. the section of the unnamed access road connecting the ingress of Tsing Yi Station Car Park and Tsing King Road from its junction with Tsing King Road to a point about 9 metres east of the same junction;
  11. the section of the unnamed access road connecting the egress of Tsing Yi Station Car Park and Tsing King Road from its junction with Tsing King Road to a point about 9 metres east of the same junction;
  12. the eastern kerbside lane of Tsing King Road from its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Maritime Square 1 Car Park to a point about 6 metres north of the same junction; and
  13. the eastern kerbside lane of Tsing King Road from its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Maritime Square 1 Car Park to a point about 5 metres south of the same junction.

Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

  1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
  2. loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
