ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN AP LEI CHAU
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 7 November 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

- The section of Main Street, Ap Lei Chau from its junction with Ping Lan Street to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
- The southern kerbside lane of Main Street, Ap Lei Chau between Ping Lan Street and Wai Fung Street;
- The section of Main Street Ap Lei Chau from its junction with Wai Fung Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;
- The section of Main Street, Ap Lei Chau from a point about 25 metres east of its junction with Hung Shing Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;
- The section of Hung Shing Street from its junction with Main Street, Ap Lei Chau to a point about 5 metres south of the same junction;
- The section of Hung Shing Street from its cul-de-sec to a point about 20 metres south of the same cul-de-sec;
- The northern kerbside lane of Main Street, Ap Lei Chau from its junction with Wai Fung Street to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction;
- The section of Wai Fung Street from a point about 15 metres north of its junction with Main Street, Ap Lei Chau to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;
- The eastern kerbside lane of Ping Lan Street from its junction with Main Street, Ap Lei Chau to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction;
- The section of Wai Fung Street from its junction with San Shi Street to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction;
- The section of San Shi Street from its junction with Wai Fung Street to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
- The northern kerbside lane of Main Street, Ap Lei Chau from a point about 25 metres east of its junction with Wah Ting Street to a point about 25 metres west of the same junction;
- The southern kerbside lane of Main Street, Ap Lei Chau from a point about 10 metres east of its junction with Wah Ting Street to a point about 25 metres west of the same junction;
- The eastern kerbside lane of Wah Ting Street from its junction with Main Street, Ap Lei Chau to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction;
- The western kerbside lane of Wah Ting Street between Main Street, Ap Lei Chau and Yuet Hoi Street;
- The southern kerbside lane of Yuet Hoi Street from its junction with Wah Ting Street to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction;
- The western kerbside lane of Wah Ting Street from its junction with Yuet Hoi Street to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction;
- The northern kerbside lane of Yuet Hoi Street from its junction with Wah Ting Street to a point about 35 metres west of the same junction;
- The unnamed road between Main Street, Ap Lei Chau and Yuet Hoi Street;
- The southern kerbside lane of Main Street, Ap Lei Chau from a point about 10 metres west of its junction with the unnamed road between Main Street, Ap Lei Chau and Yuet Hoi Street to a point about 70 metres west of the same junction; and
- The eastern kerbside lane of Main Street, Ap Lei Chau from its junction with Yuet Hoi Street to a point about 30 metres south of the same junction.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
