Road Traffic Ordinance (Chapter 374)
Extension of Temporary Speed Limit on Castle Peak Road – Ting Kau, Tsuen Wan

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 p.m. on 14 November 2025 to 6.00 p.m. on 30 November 2025, the section of Castle Peak Road – Ting Kau westbound from a point about 60 metres east of the lamp post number BC1102 to a point about 60 metres west of the same lamp post will continue to be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
