ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Cheung Fai Road and Cheung Tat Road, Tsing Yi
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 21 November 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
- the eastern kerbside lane of Cheung Fai Road from its junction with Cheung Lung Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;
- the western kerbside lane of Cheung Fai Road from its junction with Cheung Lung Street to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Cheung Tat Road from its junction with Cheung Lung Street to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Cheung Tat Road from its junction with Cheung Lung Street to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;
- the western kerbside lane of Cheung Tat Road from a point about 10 metres south of its junction with Cheung Lung Street to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;
- the section of Cheung Fai Road from a point about 15 metres north of its junction with Cheung Tat Road to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction; and
- the section of Cheung Tat Road from its junction with Cheung Fai Road to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-
- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
