ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON YAN CHING STREET AND KAI FAT PATH, TUEN MUN


    In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 21 November 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

  1. the northern kerbside lane of Yan Ching Street from its junction with Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road to a point about 100 metres east of the same junction;
  2. the eastern kerbside lane of Yan Ching Street southbound from its junction with Yan Ching Street eastbound to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction;
  3. the western kerbside lane of Yan Ching Street southbound from its junction with Yan Ching Street eastbound to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction;
  4. the northern kerbside lane of Yan Ching Street eastbound from a point about 65 metres east of its junction with Tak Ching Court to a point about 100 metres east of the same junction; and
  5. the section of Kai Fat Path from its junction with Yan Ching Street to a point about 40 metres south of the same junction.

    Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

  1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
  2. loading or unloading goods.

    The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

    At the same time, the restricted zones gazetted on 11 January 2013 under G.N. No. 194, 16 June 2017 under G.N. No. 4036 and 15 March 2019 under G.N. No. 1968 will be rescinded.
