ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN SHA TIN


        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 12 December 2025, the following road sections will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:

  1. The southern kerbside lane of Chap Wai Kon Street from its junction with Ngan Shing Street to a point about 55 metres west of the same junction;

  2. The northern kerbside lane of Yuen Shun Circuit from a point about 25 metres east of its junction with Yuen Hong Street to a point about 50 metres east of the same junction;

  3. The western kerbside lane of Ngau Pei Sha Street from its junction with the unnamed passageway connecting the Ngau Pei Sha Street Car Park and Ngau Pei Sha Street to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction; and

  4. The western kerbside lane of Ngau Pei Sha Street from a point about 40 metres south of its junction with the unnamed access road connecting Ngau Pei Sha Street car park and Ngau Pei Sha Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

  1. picking up or setting down passengers; or

  2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
