ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONE ON QUEEN'S ROAD WEST, WESTERN DISTRICT
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 7.01 pm on 28 November 2025 to 7.00 pm on 15 April 2026, The northern kerbside lane of Queen's Road West from a point about 5 metres west of its junction with Whitty Street to a point about 75 metres west of the same junction will continue to be temporarily designated as a restricted zone 24 hours daily.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:–
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
