ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES ON PAK TIN STREET, SHEK KIP MEI


       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 p.m. on 30 November 2025 to 6.00 p.m. on 31 May 2026, the following road sections will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. the section of Pak Tin Street from its junction with Wai Lun Street to a point about 90 metres south of the same junction; and

    2. the section of Pak Tin Street from its junction with Berwick Street to a point about 65 metres north of the same junction.

       Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

            (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b)  loading or unloading goods.

       The extent of the restricted zones have been indicated by appropriate road markings.

       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
