ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES IN YAU MA TEI

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 29 November 2025 to 28 February 2026, the following road sections will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

    1. the northern kerbside lane of Yan Cheung Road between Ferry Street northbound slip road and Yau Cheung Road;
    2. the western kerbside lane of Ferry Street northbound slip road from its junction with Yan Cheung Road to a point about 150 meters north of the same junction;
    3. the northern kerbside lane of Public Square Street from its junction with Ching Ping Street to a point about 50 meters east of the same junction;
    4. the southern kerbside lane of Public Square Street from its junction with Ching Ping Street to a point about 20 meters east of the same junction;
    5. the eastern kerbside lane of Ferry Street from a point about 25 metres south of its junction with Kansu Street to a point about 45 meters south of the same junction;
    6. the section of Saigon Street between Ferry Street and Canton Road;
    7. the section of Wai Ching Street from its junction with Saigon Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;
    8. the northern kerbside lane of Kansu Street between Shanghai Street and Battery Street; and
    9. the southern kerbside lane of Kansu Street between Reclamation Street and Battery Street.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

            (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b)  loading or unloading goods.

       The extent of the restricted zone have been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

       At the same time, the temporary restricted zone as gazetted on 7 November 2025 under G.N. 7113 will be rescinded.
