ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones in Tsing Yi

            In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 5 December 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. the northern kerbside lane of Ching Hong Road from its junction with Tsing Yi Road to a point about 30 metres west of the same junction;
    2. the western kerbside lane of Tsing Yi Road from its junction with Ching Hong Road to a point about 250 metres north of the same junction;
    3. the western kerbside lane of Tsing Yi Road from its junction with No.2 Roundabout to a point about 290 metres south of the same junction;
    4. the western kerbside lane of Tsing Yi Hong Wan Road from its junction with No.3 Roundabout to a point about 80 metres south of the same junction;
    5. the western kerbside lane of Tsing Yi Hong Wan Road from its junction with No.4 Roundabout to a point about 185 metres south of the same junction;
    6. the western kerbside lane of Tsing Yi Hong Wan Road from its junction with No.5 Roundabout to a point about 100 metres north of the same junction;
    7. the eastern kerbside lane of Tsing Yi Hong Wan Road from a point about 40 metres south of its junction with No.5 Roundabout to a point about 105 metres south of the same junction;
    8. the section of Tsing Yi Hong Wan Road from a point about 105 metres south of its junction with No.5 Roundabout to the cul-de-sac outside the western tower of the Stonecutters Bridge;
    9. the eastern kerbside lane of Tsing Ko Road between No.4 Roundabout and No.6 Roundabout;
    10. the northern kerbside lane of Tsing Sheung Road between No.5 Roundabout and No.6 Roundabout;
    11. the southern kerbside lane of Tsing Sheung Road from a point about 35 metres west of its junction with Tsing Sheung Lane to a point about 35 metres east of the same junction;
    12. Tsing Sheung Lane;
    13. Tsing Hung Road (except the lay-by); and
    14. the section of Cheung Fai Road from a point about 90 metres south of its junction with Cheung Tat Road to a point about 500 metres south of the same junction (except the lay-bys).

            Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

    1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
    2. loading or unloading goods.

            The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

            At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
