In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12 am to 5 am daily on 19 December and 30 December 2025, the section of Fanling Highway (eastbound) from a point about 1250 meters west of its junction with Tai Tau Leng roundabout (near exit 9) to a point about 140 meters west of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
